This position is for an immediate start.

I am seeking a highly organised and proactive practice manager/personal assistant to join my team. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of my busy medical practice, whilst allowing me to focus on patient care.

The ideal teammate will be a strategic thinker, problem solver and with experience growing a boutique medical practice. They will also be excellent at implementing processes to improve patient experience and practice efficiency. They will be required to perform medical reception and personal assistant tasks.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Dr Edmund Song, grow a medical practice into the leading practice in Australia for patients with Dysautonomia, implementing innovative solutions with the use of artificial intelligence and automation tools, and develop skills in marketing, sales, business finances.

About us:
Statera Health is a newly established medical practice by Dr Edmund Song. Dr Edmund Song is an established general physician with an interest in Dysautonomia. Our mission is to provide empathetic care for an underserved and often dismissed population of patients with dysautonomia and associated conditions like hypermobility. We are data driven, patient obsessed, have long term thinking and take professional pride in our work.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the practice and staff.

Manage the reception, lead and support the administrative staff.

Booking, managing appointments and billings.

Coordinate communication between patients and medical team and other relevant specialists/doctors.

Ensure compliance with all clinical and operational regulations.

Staff recruitment, onboarding and training.

Streamlining systems and documentation of processes.

Identifying opportunities for growth and efficiencies in the business.

Assisting with marketing and patient communication initiatives.

Managing stock control and consumables.

Managing Dr Edmund Song’s email inbox, his calendar/schedule.

Ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Medical practice manager (minimum 2 years of private specialist medical practice management).

Exceptional organisation and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to perform Medicare and Eclipse billings.

Knowledge of Xestro clinical software, Zoho CRM, Connecteam is a bonus but not essential.

Awareness of the role of artificial intelligence and automations in optimising business processes.

“Can do” attitude, self-initiative, ability to problem solve.

Interested in growth and improving their skills in all facets of medical administration.
