Administration Assistant – Maryborough, QLD
Location: Maryborough CBD with option for some work from home
Job Type: Casual, Permanent Part-Time, Full-Time
Start Date: Available immediately
Salary/hourly rate: Based on experience
Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional looking to join a friendly, energetic, and supportive team? We are seeking a proactive Administration Assistant to support the smooth running of our Allied Health Clinic. An additional, more senior role, is also available – please enquire.
This is a key role within our organisation, requiring strong communication skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism. You will be required to speak and build rapport with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and ages.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will typically (but not exclusively) include:
Sending invoices and submitting online claims for billable sessions
Uploading and tracking remittance advices
Scanning and uploading patient files into our online systems
Contacting Support Coordinators and Plan Managers to assist in the completion of Service Agreements
Receiving and processing referrals, managing bookings, and maintaining the company waitlist
Liaising with practitioners regarding client billing and appointment matters
Answering enquiries and greeting clientele at reception
What We’re Looking For
Necessary attributes:
Thorough attention to detail, some computer and data entry skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
A proactive and team-oriented attitude
The ability to work independently and unsupervised at times
An understanding of the importance of client confidentiality
An advantage:
Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role
Previous experience in healthcare – especially working within the NDIS sector
Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/Adobe/Google Drive/bookkeeping or accounting software such as Xero
