About the role

This is a full-time Production Admin Assistant role based in Queanbeyan East, NSW, supporting the manufacturing of stair and glass balustrade products at Flight Stairways Pty Ltd. In this role, you will be providing administrative support to the production team, ensuring the smooth running of the manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating the flow of production orders and ensuring timely completion of customer orders

Maintaining detailed production records and generating production reports

Monitoring stock levels and ordering raw materials as required

Liaising with suppliers and customers to resolve any issues or queries

Assisting with the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives

Providing general administrative support to the production team as needed

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing administrative role

Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills to maintain accurate production records

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office suite

A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and suggest process improvements

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies would be highly regarded
