Production Assistant – Quality Control & Documentation

We’re on the hunt for a sharp, hands-on Production Assistant to drive our quality control and documentation processes on the workshop floor.

Your Mission:

Ensure every product that leaves our floor meets the highest standard, is built to spec, fully documented, serialised, and loaded right the first time.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee QA/QC processes from start to finish

Maintain, check and control job documentation

Ensure all products meet drawings and specification requirements

Serialise and accurately document each product

Coordinate final inspections and pre-dispatch loading checks

Lead and maintain compliance with ISO9001 systems

Write, review and implement practical, shop-floor quality procedures

Support production team with quality training and clear process guidance

Conduct QA reporting, test result tracking and calibration control

Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement projects

About You:

3+ years in a production role

Practical experience in heavy or industrial manufacturing

Eye for detail – nothing slips past you

Can read drawings

Can use a tape measure confidently

Solid communicator, confident training others

Able to write clear procedures and work with documentation

Experience with fibreglass or composites a plus

Can juggle priorities and keep cool under pressure

MS Office capable (Word, Excel, Outlook)
