Salary Package: $100k–$120k* (depending on experience) + Super + Commission + Bonus

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Production Manager with a strong background in manufacturing high-end residential and commercial aluminium window systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to drive efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring smooth workflow and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Schedule and coordinate jobs, estimate labour hours, and optimise production to meet on-time delivery targets (DIFOT – Delivered In Full On Time).

Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Manage order processing, including material procurement aligned with production schedules.

Coordinate inwards and outwards deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch.

Conduct quality inspections and sign off on finished products before delivery.

Collaborate with factory supervisors, managers, and cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, engineering) to align production with business goals.

Monitor KPIs, analyse production performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in aluminium window and door manufacturing.

Strong ability to interpret fabrication paperwork with high attention to detail.

Proven experience in scheduling, workflow optimisation, and labour allocation.

Technical expertise in production processes, quality control, and machinery.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.

Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
