As we embark on an exciting growth phase, including the launch of several new products and brands, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales professional with strong industry knowledge to join our team and influence our sales initiatives within the design and construction sectors.
This role will be instrumental in executing on our developed sales strategies and targets through engagement and partnerships with designers, builders and architects Australia wide. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in selling high-end design or construction products, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute on our strategic sales plans to expand our clientele and increase market share in the architectural steel segment.
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and other key stakeholders in the design and construction industries.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, driving the sales pipeline from initial contact through to project completion.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients on product selection, design options, and project specifications.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, detailed product specifications, and competitive pricing proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure cohesive strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar sales role within the high-end design or construction products industry.
- In-depth understanding of architectural products and their applications.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team effectively.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
