About the role

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Part-Time Optical Assistant to join our team at Eltham Optical, in Eltham, Victoria. This customer-facing role will see you providing exceptional service to our clients and supporting the efficient operation of our optical retail store.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers with product selection and purchasing

Maintaining store presentation and merchandising standards

Handling cash and card transactions accurately

Restocking and organising inventory as required

Providing admin support to the Store Manager as needed

Ensuring a consistently high level of customer service

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or Optical service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities

Enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer experiences

A friendly, approachable and helpful manner

Flexibility to work part-time hours as required
