About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Scott Dibben Chemist in Kotara, NSW. This is a part-time opportunity, offering flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle. Also a possibility to transition to full time for right candidate. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality customer service and supporting the efficient operations of our pharmacy.

What you'll be doing

Assisting pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications

Providing excellent customer service to patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their needs are met

Maintaining the pharmacy's inventory, stocking shelves, and ordering supplies as needed

Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and filling prescription

Promoting health and wellness through patient education and support

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer service role within the healthcare industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the role

Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and procedures

A caring and compassionate attitude, with a genuine interest in supporting the health and wellbeing of our patients
