About the Role

As an APS5 Operations Officer, you’ll support key operational projects and decision-making processes that underpin national service delivery. From stakeholder engagement to data analysis and process optimisation, your work will help shape frontline capability and performance. This position involves both individual accountability and team leadership.

What You Will Do

Provide secretariat support for housing-related operational decisions

Respond to and resolve enquiries and complaints from internal stakeholders

Lead or support initiatives that improve business processes

Analyse operational data and produce insights to inform planning

Contribute to achieving performance and planning targets

Oversee workflow, correspondence, and internal work item management

Coach and mentor junior staff on procedures, systems, and expectations

What You Will Bring

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Ability to manage moderately complex to complex operational issues

Experience leading workflow and meeting competing priorities

Strong judgement and problem-solving abilities under limited supervision

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality documentation

Demonstrated ability to support and guide team members

Proficiency in analysing data to drive reporting and planning
