About the role
As an APS6 Case Manager, you’ll be working at the forefront of external review processes, managing complex applications and contributing to high-quality outcomes that support individuals and community trust. Guided by legislation and policy, you’ll help shape resolution strategies, influence better decisions, and support the overall effectiveness of critical government services.

What you will do

Manage a portfolio of complex external review matters from start to finish

Provide expert, high-level advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders

Attend tribunal conferences, conciliations and hearings as a case representative

Apply sound legislative knowledge and analytical skills to inform case strategies

Assess and manage priority and risk in sensitive cases

What you will bring

Strong judgment and decision-making capability in a legislative and policy context

Exceptional stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief executives

Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and sensitive matters under pressure

Understanding of administrative law frameworks and tribunal processes
