Our client is a Litigation Team within a dynamic and successful CBD firm.

They are seeking a strong junior to mid level litigator to join them, for an exciting new role.

THE FIRM

You will be joining a reputable full service commercial law firm with a great culture.

The Melbourne office is based in the heart of the CBD. The litigation team consists of experienced and inspiring professionals.

THE TEAM

The commercial litigation team is experienced in working with a variety of clients on high profile matters.

In this role, you will work alongside leading Partners and set a trajectory path with a firm who offer strong mentoring and opportunities for career progression.

YOU

To be successful in this role, you will be at lawyer or associate level and have a minimum of 2-4 years PQE in a general commercial litigation or insolvency litigation role.

In addition, you will have strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.

You will:

• have strong drafting skills and be adept at drafting all manner of Statements, Applications and Affidavits
• be adept at drafting briefs to Counsel and liaising with Counsel
• handle litigation and dispute resolution matters and appear at pre-hearing conferences and directions hearings
• prepare and attend mediations in Supreme and County Court proceedings
• mentor more junior lawyers and participate in business development initiatives
• have experience managing court dates
