We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Payroll Officer to join our team, supporting the day-to-day financial operations across several diverse businesses under common ownership. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

About the Role

Reporting to the Directors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance and payroll functions. You will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll across multiple entities, and assisting with HR and administrative tasks where required.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end payroll processing for multiple businesses using Xero

Processing accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner

Reconciling bank accounts and managing payment runs

Maintaining employee records and assisting with HR onboarding processes

Liaising with suppliers, employees, and external accountants

Supporting month-end and year-end reporting

Assisting with ad hoc administration tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a finance, accounts, or payroll role (Xero experience preferred)

Strong attention to detail and excellent time management

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

A proactive and flexible attitude with the ability to multitask

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience working across multiple entities or industries is highly regarded
