Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Officer to join our finance team. Based in Thomastown, this full-time role offers the flexibility to work from home one day per week. The position is primarily responsible for accounts payable processing within MYOB Acumatica, while also assisting with fortnightly payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and managing the accounts inbox. Key Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable transactions using MYOB Acumatica

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve account discrepancies

Maintain and action the accounts email inbox, responding and triaging communications

Assist in the preparation of fortnightly payroll, including data entry and verification

Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner

Support end-of-month procedures, reporting, and general ledger reviews

Ensure compliance and accuracy across all financial documentation

Provide ad-hoc administrative and finance support as needed

Skills and Experience Required

At least 3 years' experience in a similar finance/accounts role

Familiarity with MYOB Acumatica or other ERP accounting platforms is preferred

Demonstrated experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, and payroll support

Strong communication and inbox management skills

Competency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines

Proactive and adaptable team player with a problem-solving mindset
