This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) offered on a hybrid work arrangement, under a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026.

At Fortem Australia, we're on a mission to make a real impact. Since 2019, we've been delivering free, evidence-based wellbeing and mental health care, designed to build both skills and social networks that stand first responders in good stead in times of increased stress. We also provide evidence-based psychology support to first responders and their families, and career management services for those looking to refresh their commitment to service or transition out of service.
Our Impact:
As we approach four years of operation, Fortem Australia has supported over 13,000 unique individuals, received over 50,000 wellbeing activity registrations, and provided over 5,000 psychology sessions to first responders and their families across the country.

Key Responsibilities
External Relationship Management:
Support participants' career aspirations within and outside their respective agencies.
Plan and attend seminars, workshops, and events to showcase the transferable skills and value of our participants to potential employers.
Internal Relationship Management:
Liaise with key internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the Career Management Program.
Collaborate with Clinical Services as necessary to support and refer participants aligned with their health and well-being needs.
Organisational Support:
Contribute to Fortem Australia's vision, mission, and values.
Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to the Senior Manager of Career Management, as well as the Director of Business Operations.
Support a culture of continuous improvement within the team and communicate issues affecting the organisation.
Ensure all service, correspondence, and administrative processes follow established governance, policies, procedures, and workflows.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of participant details and Career Management documentation.
Work Health and Safety:
Prioritise personal and others' safety and health. Report unsafe conditions or incidents.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
Career Practitioner, Case Manager, or Coaching Experience (preferred)
Proven ability to build effective relationships with participants, employers, and the community
Minimum of 12 Months Experience in a Case Management role (preferred)
Experience Working with or within a National Security or Law Enforcement Agency (preferred)
Certificate IV in Career Development or willingness to obtain
Certificate IV in Community Services or Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent experience (desirable)
Cert IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
Administration or project management skills
Current working with children checks or equivalent as required by the relevant Australian state or territory
Current driver’s license
