Seeking experienced SMP Coordinators to support the delivery of sustaining capital projects at Cape Lambert Port A. Work on a major project in a dynamic, site-based FIFO role.

Our client is a leading player in the mining and resources industry, delivering critical infrastructure projects that drive operational efficiency and long-term sustainability. The Cape Lambert Port A site near Wickham is a key hub for iron ore export operations.

About the Position

· Site-based FIFO position supporting the CLA High Density Ore Project

· Coordinate contractors and manage site activities safely and efficiently

· Work closely with engineering and construction teams to ensure project goals are met

Key Responsibilities Include

· Oversee project implementation and ensure safe delivery

· Coordinate multiple contractors and site teams

· Assist with site-based cost, quality, and schedule reporting

· Support compliance with HSEQ and company management systems

· Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies

· Assist with QA/QC verifications and ITP/FIC inspections

· Support commissioning activities and punch list management

· Verify contractor timesheets and maintain daily site logs

· Participate in shutdown updates and site meetings

Skills and Experience Required

· Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills

· Demonstrated experience across SMP and multi-disciplinary projects

· Brownfield construction knowledge, preferably in mining or heavy industry

· Familiarity with Rio Tinto processes and standards advantageous

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
