We are Victoria’s largest provider of Out of Home Care and Family Services, and one of Australia’s most innovative agencies in working with vulnerable children youth and families.

Make your mark:

You will need a sensitive and respectful manner when interviewing people who have experienced huge challenges in their lives. You will work to identify clients who are comfortable talking publicly about their experiences, as well as preparing subject matter experts for media interviews. As well as highlighting the good work of the organisation in the community, you will work through challenging issues to assess risk and make recommendations to the leadership team.

You will work closely with the marketing, communications and fundraising arms of the business, as well as developing a trusted relationship with the CEO and senior executives.

What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary qualification in journalism, communication or a related field

  • A workplace with Rainbow Tick Accreditation and DCA Inclusive Employer recognition.

What our people say. “We’re a forward-thinking organisation in that we don’t shy away from identifying gaps in services and key pieces of advocacy… Anglicare is one of the leaders in transforming the protection system and the social services sector across Victoria.
