Our client is a well-respected, privately owned consultancy based in Perth, Western Australia, with a team of approximately 30 staff, primarily comprising engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers. They have an outstanding reputation within the mining sector, working client-side with major mining companies on greenfield and brownfield projects, including haul roads, rail, bridges, NPI, and mining infrastructure.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist to join our clients team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of Australia's most significant mining projects, providing site investigation, construction support, and geological expertise across a variety of challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site geotechnical investigations and provide construction support for ongoing projects.

Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives and subcontractors.

Write detailed factual and interpretive geological reports suitable for review, including engineering elements.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including passing medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Support ongoing projects with desktop studies, geohazard identification, and engineering geomorphology.

About You:

Proven experience working as an engineering geologist or geologist on client sites within the mining or construction sectors.

Strong understanding and adherence to health and safety practices for long-term projects.

Ability to prepare clear, professional, factual and interpretive reports.

Comfortable working remotely on site, with excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.

Able to pass medical, drug, and alcohol screening assessments.
