The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an accomplished Purchasing Officer, with demonstrated ability to provide support to our Team. We need a dynamic team player with the strength to build and maintain successful relationships with many internal and external stakeholders, whilst also optimizing our internal purchasing activities.

The successful applicant will have minimum 2-3 years previous experience in similar role, be results-driven, and needs to be a highly motivated, hard working person, with a go-getting attitude. They will be able cope working under pressure, have strong computer skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships to optimise the timely provision of products in the most cost-effective way.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Supportive and "can do" attitude
• A demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment

You will possess a professional and proactive approach to your work with experience in supporting high performing teams. As a strong communicator and influencer you will have the ability to work effectively with all levels of the business and will be adept in negotiating and problem solving.
