We provide flexible office and warehousing solutions alongside logistics support for our thriving community of entrepreneurs and startups. We first opened our doors 10 years ago in Kensington and soon after expanded to Moorabbin, then Vermont and now we are opening a new site in West Footscray.
About the role
We’re on the lookout for a friendly, proactive Site Manager to join our Vermont location for 3 days a week on a maternity leave cover.
Ideally, you’re local - someone who knows the area and brings a natural sense of community to the role. You’re all about people, problem-solving, and creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and well cared for.
You’ll be the steady hand behind the scenes - managing the day to day, supporting your small team, and helping our community feel connected and cared for. No two days are quite the same, and that’s part of the fun.
This is a part-time, 3 days per week role. The salary range listed is the full-time equivalent and will be prorated based on your agreed hours and experience.
Contract / start date
We’re looking for someone to start training in July, so you’re all set to take the lead when the maternity cover officially begins in September. This is a 3 day/week contract running through to September 2026, with the possibility of ongoing opportunities beyond that.
In this role, you’ll take care of things like:
Facility management: Ensure efficient and cost-effective management of our site. Work with our contractors and suppliers for planned maintenance, repairs, and site inspections.
Site standards: Uphold our operational standards by maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment. Continuously seek improvements in both the appearance and functionality of our space to enhance the member experience.
Community support: Build relationships with our members and provide support when you can. Back our community team with events and initiatives to create a close-knit community.
Team management: Support your small onsite team (1-3 people), manage monthly rostering, leave requests, and track extra hours.
Communication: Keep members in the loop with updates via Slack, email, and notices around the space.
Member onboarding and offboarding: Take charge of the new member journey, organising site inductions and ensuring a smooth onboarding for new businesses. Prepare their space and schedule any maintenance work in advance.
Member renewals and movements: Work collaboratively with our sales team to assist with upcoming licence renewals or member movements.
Member requests: Be responsive to questions, issues, and requests - big or small.
Support our sales team: Assist with tours and provide prospective members with the inside scoop on what makes our space so unique.
What you’ll bring:
10+ years' work experience, including 3+ in a leadership/ management role
A background in coworking, hospitality, real estate, events, or similar
Organised, proactive, and happy to get hands-on
Great with people and building strong relationships
A clear communicator who stays calm under pressure and pays attention to detail
You live locally and have a driver’s licence and your own car
