Position: Part-Time Nurse/Client Service Manager (Care Advisor)
Location: Bendigo, Clayton - Carer's Network
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum pro rata

About the Role
Part-time – three days’ a week, 9.00am – 5.00pm (flexible days and hours).
We are on the lookout for an experienced Nurse, ideally with experience as a Client Services Manager (Care Advisor), to join our awesome team at the Carer’s Network office in Bendigo! With your nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration, you’ll be stepping into a key clinical advisory role. You’ll work closely with our amazing, allied health crew, social support team, and some fantastic external partners to create flexible, personalised care plans that really make a difference. Experience Required
Ideally you will have demonstrated nursing experience as well as Client Services Management (Care Advisor) experience - preferably within the Aged Care Home Care Sector.
A nursing qualification with AHPRA registration (essential).
Strong understanding of home care packages and familiarity with government funding mechanisms.
Proven record of working to company organisational objectives and goals.
Experience in providing guidance, support, and mentoring colleagues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to promote and empower consumer participation and choice through the provision of effective and results-based case management to our Home Care Package clients.
Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, conflict management and decision-making, especially in challenging environments.
Good working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Framework and Home Care Standards.
A compassionate approach to care, driven by a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical advice (essential).
Lead dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality home care services.
Oversee the assessment, allocation, and ongoing review of Home Care Packages to ensure each client’s needs are supported in the best feasible way. With your outgoing, confident and dynamic personality, you will develop new business whilst maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, their families, caregivers, and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal departments to streamline processes and optimise service delivery.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Implement strategies to continuously improve service quality and client satisfaction.
Travel to Melbourne as required.
About you:
AHPRA registered (essential).
Have at least two years’ industry and case management experience within the health care or home care sector (desirable).
Must have strong understanding of My Aged Care (desirable).
Highly motivated with strong organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal - with the ability to collaborate across teams and services (essential).
Have a compassionate approach to care and improving the quality of others’ lives.
Experience/Qualifications:
A nursing qualification (essential)
Current Australian Driver License (essential)
Mandatory certificates required in the Care industry (must be willing to obtain)
