ABOUT THE ROLE A government agency is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Senior Business Analyst to support a key digital transformation initiative. This role will be instrumental in the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes to support the implementation of a digital bench solution within a judicial environment.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Transformation, the successful candidate will work across business units to drive efficiency and deliver high-quality operational outcomes. The role offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid work and adaptable hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct analysis of current business processes and develop future state process maps.
  
  
• Facilitate workshops to gather feedback and support process improvement.
  
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create and document updated standard operating procedures.
  
  
• Prepare detailed documentation including workflows, process maps, and change impact summaries.
  
  
• Maintain controlled documentation aligned with organisational templates.
  
  
• Work with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office 365 and Miro.
  
  
• Manage time effectively and contribute to project deliverables within deadlines.
  
  
• Positively participate in team meetings and organisational initiatives.
  
  

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated experience in process analysis and continuous improvement.
  
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
  
  
• High attention to detail with excellent documentation and presentation ability.
  
  
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex information.
  
  
• Proven capability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Familiarity with business process modelling tools and methods.
  
  

ELIGIBILITY

• Tertiary qualifications in business, information systems or related discipline (desirable).
  
  
• Relevant certifications in business analysis or change management (advantageous).
  
  
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.
  
  
• National Criminal History Check will be required.
  
  
• No Working with Vulnerable People registration or pre-employment medical required.
