Overview:

Our client is based in Canberra.

This role is for an initial 12 months, and is expected to extend for a further 2 years.

Work will be carried out as hybrid (WFH), with generally 3 days a week in their Canberra office.

To apply, you must have (at a minimum) a current Baseline security clearance.

Key duties and responsibilities

The role will work with IT applications project members and other internal resources, as well as SMEs, business stakeholders and vendors.

Duties will include:

• Business analysis and business solution design;

• Development of high level, detailed, functional, non-functional requirements, user cases and scenarios;

• Analysis and mapping of business processes, user pathways and information flows;

• Acting as the conduit between business stakeholders, project teams and IT resources to deliver outcomes;

• Contribution to continuous improvement activities across IT.

Key skills required:

A minimum of 5 years as a business analyst;

Strong skills with technical writing (including requirements, process maps, procedures, etc);

Strong skills with regards to problem solving and relationship building;

Previous experience working in an area where legislative changes are taking place;

Previous experience delivering change for regulatory functions; and...

Hold some industry standard certification.
