Role Brief Description
Southern Queensland Women’s Correctional Centre Women’s Out of Hours Service Worker x 1 (hours 12pm – 8pm * note higher pay rate whole shift) The MARA Women’s Reintegration Worker’s OUT of HOURS Service- MOHs (centres) role is to deliver an after-hours service to ensure that women released after 4 pm (MARA) business hours receive release support if they require it. These discharges may occur when notification of court outcomes is delayed and not received in standard business hours. Based in the Southern Queensland Women’s Correctional Centre.
Liase with courts for women who require support with accommodation and travel if released at late notice
Engage with center staff to support women at late notice release
Maintaining spreadsheets
Providing support information to women being released at late notice
