Project Manager (Business-Focused) – Melbourne or Sydney | Hybrid | Contract

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in business transformation and product delivery? We’re seeking a dynamic professional to lead and execute key business projects, driving process improvements and change management initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

What You’ll Do:

Lead end-to-end delivery of business transformation projects and new product/service launches

Collaborate closely with IT leadership while focusing primarily on business-side initiatives

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational needs

Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear direction to project teams

Develop and implement governance frameworks and risk management strategies

Oversee project resources, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery within budget

Facilitate cross-team collaboration on scoping, requirements gathering, impact assessments, and delivery planning

Communicate project status and escalate risks/issues to senior leadership as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience managing business projects involving systems, people, and process change

Strong expertise in project governance, stakeholder engagement, and communication

Background in product delivery and ideally product management experience launching new offerings

Understanding of operational environments and readiness activities critical for successful product adoption

Skilled in change management principles, impact assessments, and risk mitigation

Hands-on approach, particularly for high-priority or resource-constrained projects

Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with approximately 50% time in office (Melbourne or Sydney)
