Job Title: Salesforce CRM Project Manager

• Short term 2 month contract + potential 12 month extension
• $700-$800 per day + super

About the Role:

This NSW Government organisation is seeking a CRM Project Manager with strong experience in preparing business cases for major ICT projects, particularly those involving digital transformation or CRM implementation. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to coordinate input from multiple stakeholders, develop clear cost-benefit analyses, and align proposals with strategic priorities to secure executive and government approvals.

The initial engagement runs until the end of July and will focus primarily on developing and coordinating a business case to secure funding for a full Salesforce CRM implementation. The business case will include a 12-month dedicated CRM Project Manager role (this role).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of Salesforce CRM implementation, aligning delivery with business goals, scope, and timelines.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to keep the team focused and on track.
• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the project team, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Allocate and monitor internal and external resources to support efficient and timely task completion.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating where necessary to ensure delivery continuity.
• Prepare and present status reports and dashboards to keep leadership informed and engaged.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure third-party components are delivered to the highest standard.

Key Skills

• Extensive CRM Project Management experience, with a proven track record of successful end-to-end CRM implementations.
• Salesforce expertise, including configuration, customisation, and business-focused integration.
• Strong command of Agile project methodologies, with the ability to run sprints, manage iterative delivery, and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, vendors, and internal teams, making timely, informed decisions within a framework of accountability.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and planning skills, with the confidence to make decisions and influence outcomes.
