This top-tier construction group have operations around Australia and are involved in numerous large, high profile projects building structures such as stadiums, hospitals, schools, industrial centres, state-of-the-art defence facilities, and many more.

They currently have an opening in their group finance team which will be a combination of financial and management accounting duties:

Monthly consolidated group management reporting, commentary, and analysis

Project reporting including consolidated WIP and business partnering with project teams

Overhead reporting and allocations

Cash flow forecasting

Balance sheet reconciliations and P&L management

Business partnering with various divisional leaders and state managers

Statutory financial statements and external audit work

Review of work produced by one offshore accountant

You will be CA/CPA qualified with 4+ years of experience in financial and accounting, key will be having prior exposure to the construction or development sector. You could be a first mover from Audit who has construction clients, or be a Financial or Management Accountant from the sector who is looking for a step up. You will need to be personable with strong business partnering skills, be self motivated, able to work in complexity, and have a collaborative approach.
