What you'll do:
* Prepare monthly management accounts for all entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is available for decision-making purposes.
* Assist with the half-year review and year-end audit process for all funds and corporate entities by providing comprehensive documentation and responding to auditor queries.
* Support the preparation of IFRS-compliant financial reports and detailed cashflow statements for various property-related entities.
* Facilitate the preparation of income tax returns for all entities by gathering relevant data and collaborating closely with external advisors as required.
* Prepare trust distribution statements and annual tax statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and clear communication with stakeholders.
* Assist in preparing half-year investor reports for high-net-worth funds by compiling performance data and drafting insightful commentary.
* Monitor debt facility compliance by tracking covenants, preparing necessary documentation, and liaising with lenders as needed.
* Contribute to the establishment of new funds by supporting acquisition accounting processes for newly acquired properties.
* Manage accounting for asset disposals, including coordinating with legal teams and overseeing the wind-up of trusts when required.
What you bring:
* Demonstrated experience in preparing management accounts within a property or real estate environment, showcasing your ability to handle complex entity structures.
* Proficiency in preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements along with strong technical accounting skills relevant to property investments.
* Solid understanding of income tax return preparation for trusts, companies, or similar entities within the property sector.
* Experience in preparing trust distribution statements and annual tax statements while ensuring regulatory compliance at every stage.
* Familiarity with investor reporting requirements for high-net-worth individuals or institutional clients within managed funds environments.
* Ability to monitor debt facility compliance by tracking key covenants and maintaining effective communication with lenders or financiers.
* Exposure to acquisition accounting processes during fund establishment phases or when onboarding new properties into existing portfolios.
* Competence in managing asset disposals including coordination with legal teams and overseeing trust wind-ups as part of exit strategies.
