An exciting opportunity is available for a highly experienced Senior FF&E Lead to join one of Melbourne’s most respected interior design studios. With a reputation for timeless, layered, and thoughtfully curated interiors, this studio delivers award-winning projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors. Reporting directly to the Principals and Directors, this role offers the chance to head up the LFF&E department, overseeing everything from concept through to procurement and final styling. You’ll shape and lead a wide range of design outcomes, while also contributing to the commercial performance and strategic development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Lead FF&E projects across all phases – from concept and procurement through to final styling

Collaborate closely with directors and studio teams to deliver elevated, design-led outcomes

Manage client and supplier relationships with confidence and professionalism

Oversee FF&E scheduling, budgeting, and documentation with precision

Develop and implement processes to streamline studio efficiency

Contribute to the growth and commercial success of the FF&E department

Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience leading LFF&E across high-end interiors

Strong design sensibility and alignment with a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic

Excellent Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office skills

Confident using ArchiCAD (or similar) to design joinery and bespoke furniture

Proven experience across multiple sectors – including residential, hospitality, hotel, and commercial

A strategic mindset, with the ability to run LFF&E as a “business within a business
