ASRA Financial Consulting is a boutique financial planning company offering a range of services across the financial consulting space including superannuation, investment and insurance advice.

The opportunity

We are currently looking for a financial planning assistant to join the existing operations team conduct research for clients and the implementation of financial advice. This involves liaising with third party companies over the phone and via email on behalf of our clients as well as supporting existing clients with any day-to-day queries.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Organising and coordinating the operations workload with the rest of the operations team in the office and offshore staff
• Collaborate with the two financial planners in strategy meetings to understand and execute their recommendations for clients
• Conducting the research process of contacting third party superannuation and insurance companies as we onboard new clients.
• Collecting data and reports for existing clients as part of their routine annual reviews
• Producing applications forms for third party companies as part of the implementation of financial advice
• Providing ongoing support to clients via phone and email, addressing their questions and concerns throughout the implementation process
• Utilize financial planning software to manage and track the progress of clients and ensure compliance standards are met
• Maintain a thorough understanding of back-office operations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency

Skills & Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in financial planning or a related field
• Strong knowledge of personal insurance and superannuation products
• Proficiency in XPLAN is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Adaptable and efficient with technology and operations processes
