The Business
This business is a well-regarded and integrated wealth creation and management firm, working with a long-standing, loyal and established base of high-net-worth clients, they provide advice across a broad range of strategies. We are looking for a Financial Planning Administrator or Junior Client Service professional to support and work alongside some Senior Financial Advisers in this close-knit boutique environment. The team is professional, knowledgeable and skilled at what they do.
The Role
- Liaise extensively with clients via email and phone and assist with all aspects of the implementation process
- Assist with all aspects of the advice preparation and implementation process
- Provide administrative support to Advisers to include drafting correspondence from pre-defined templates
- Deliver an exceptional level of client service, being proactive in meeting client requests and using initiative to follow up on their behalf
- Submit and monitor the progress of new applications, rollovers and any requested changes/implementations, escalating any issues to the Senior Client Services Team or the Adviser as required
- Use Xplan Threads and monitor assigned Xplan Tasks to manage workflow and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures
- Be a core part of the practice ensuring all service standards and compliance requirements are fully understood, met and implemented
About YOU
To enable the Advisers to seamlessly service the firm’s highly valued clients, the successful candidate should:
- Possess a problem-solving mindset and have advanced numeracy levels.
- Have well developed communication skills across the board, but have a particular gift for clear, concise, professional writing that can persuasively convey complex concepts in plain English.
- Be a natural organiser with the adaptability to keep things on track when the real world collides with best laid plans. The Adviser will rely heavily on you to help prioritise tasks and plan workflow during busy times.
- Be a resilient and resourceful individual with a strong work ethic and a deep pride in the output you produce.
- Ideally hold a tertiary qualification in financial planning and be genuinely interested in a career in advice
- Have at least 1 years’ experience working in a professional services firm, ideally within advice / wealth management
- Have a sound understanding of financial planning strategies, superannuation, and the planning process.
- Be familiar with compliance requirements surrounding the provision of advice to retail and wholesale clients.
