Business Development Representative (SaaS/Vocational Education)
Location: Work from Home | Sunshine Coast Office Option
Salary: $75-$85k + Super + Uncapped Commission
We're a growing Australian SaaS company with a compliance platform that Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) love. Our product works, our customers stay, and with the new 2025 RTO regulations creating an urgent need in the market, our growth is about to take off.
We're looking for an experienced BDR to join our team, bring their expertise to the table, and work directly with our founders to build a successful sales function together.
What You'll Be Doing:
Driving Growth: You'll connect with RTO leaders to explore the challenges of managing compliance, then introduce our platform as a systematic solution and book a demo for them to see it.
Booking Quality Demos: Your primary goal will be to connect with key decision-makers and schedule high-quality product demos.
Shaping Our Strategy: You'll partner directly with the founders to co-design our outbound sales strategy. Your experience will be crucial as we develop messaging and build our processes.
Being the Expert: As our first sales hire, your insights from engaging with leads will influence our product and marketing decisions.
Participating in Events: You'll have the opportunity to join the founders at key VET industry conferences, helping to engage with potential customers on our exhibition stand.
This Role is Perfect For You If:
You have proven experience in B2B/SaaS outbound sales and know what it takes to generate leads from scratch.
You enjoy collaboration and want to have a real impact on company growth.
You thrive when given trust and autonomy, but appreciate having supportive leadership to build with.
You're a confident communicator who is comfortable on the phone and open to engaging with prospects face-to-face. Prior experience helping at trade shows or conferences is a bonus!
Huge bonus points if you have experience in or selling to the RTO sector.
