We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading national building and engineering services provider delivering essential maintenance and infrastructure support across commercial facilities. With a strong pipeline of work and a safety-first mindset, they’re reshaping their HSEQ function to further empower frontline teams and support operational excellence. As part of this transformation, they’re seeking a proactive and confident HSEQ Advisor to join the team in a permanent capacity.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, site-facing position where you’ll work closely with General Managers, site leaders, and technicians to embed safety best practices across multiple high-profile commercial buildings.
Reporting to the Head of HSEQ, you’ll be the go-to advisor for a mix of day-to-day support and strategic initiatives—think audits, inspections, contractor compliance, risk assessments, and coaching site teams. Your focus will be on simplifying the complex, influencing through relationships, and helping leaders take ownership of safety.

This is a hybrid role, ideally based 2 days per week in Moorebank, with time spent in the Sydney CBD and occasional regional travel to support site operations.

About You
We’re looking for a confident and pragmatic HSEQ professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You’ll bring:

• A Diploma (or higher) in Work Health and Safety
• Experience supporting operational teams in field-based or technical industries (e.g., FM, trades, construction, engineering)
• Excellent communication skills – you're fluent in “site speak” and just as comfortable influencing senior stakeholders
• A collaborative, hands-on approach to investigations, risk, and compliance
• The confidence to juggle priorities and drive outcomes without being overly process-heavy
