We are looking for a suitably qualified Civil Engineer (Civil, Estimation, Planning & Piping).
The position will be based at our Naval Base Workshop, Western Australia and is to to assist the Engineering Manager to meet project schedules, develop BOQ’s, estimations, tender submissions, reporting and planning. There may be the opportunity to work on various project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist management with meeting programs and schedules
Liaising with Head office and various Site/Project Office’s
Estimation and Tender Submission
Planning and reporting
Preparing the detail drawings, mark-ups and drafting as per the instructions.
Preparing BOQ (Bill of Quantity)/ take off for projects.
Assist with supervision on technical drawings.
Assist in schedule and preparing look-a-head’s, recording the production.
Ensure the designs and finished works are within specification.
Co-ordinate with Naval Base and various project supervision for spool deliveries.
Collecting data and carrying out complex computations and preparing drawings.
Assisting QA (Quality Assurance) in test requirements and MDR (Manufacturers Data Report)

Qualifications
Essential: Diploma ( minimum), scheduling, reporting,
Desirable: Workshop manufacturing of GRP components
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
Essential: Strong computer literacy, ability to show initiative and work without supervision
Sound communication skills
Desirable: Sound knowledge of all aspects of business administration
Annual Salary $86,944 per annum.
