KHG Contracting is currently seeking a qualified & experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Civil Team.

We are an Australian-based company established in 2011 specialising in maintenance and construction projects in the resources, renewables, residential, commercial, and industrial sectors

This role will be working with our Civil Division in Karara Mine Site on a 14/7 OR 8/6 Roster.

Responsibilities:

The role will require the following attributes:

Planning and managing civil engineering projects, including creating project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Conducting site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.

Designing and preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for construction projects.

Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Managing and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations, as well as health and safety guidelines.

Monitoring and controlling project progress, including tracking costs, schedules, and quality performance.

Managing and resolving technical issues and challenges that arise during construction.

Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project team members.

Requirements:

To be considered for the position, you must have:

Valid working rights in Australia

Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering

Minimum of at least 5 year experience as a Senior Project Engineer

Extensive experience as a Senior Project Engineer in the Civil Construction Industry

Tailings Dam Experience (mandatory)

Bulk Earthworks Experience (mandatory)
