The Opportunity
Our client is a community focused Federal Government Agency. They have multiple positions available for Senior Media Officer's to join the team.

APS6 level position paying $60.26 hourly + Super.

12-month initial contracts with the view for extension, based in either Richmond or Geelong with flexible hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

• Working strategically to seek opportunities to promote the Scheme and the work of the NDIA.
• Contributing to a strategic and nationally consistent approach for the Agency and supporting media and communications approaches that leverage best practice.
• Collaborating with NDIA subject matter experts to develop comprehensive media packages for TV, online, print, radio and social platforms.
• Creating and delivering compelling media pitches.
• Producing and contributing to media and other communications products including media releases and talking points.
• Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to develop media plans to support NDIA announcements and media opportunities.
• Contributing to strategies to improve channels and platforms including NDIS website, Ministerial and Executive briefings, event materials and social media.
• Supporting the monitoring and identification of potential media risks.
• Utilising reporting metrics to review the impact of media and communications approaches, identifying areas for improvement.
• Managing and responding to media enquiries and working within an after-hours rotational on-call media roster.
• Supporting the delivery of media engagement and communication activities.
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support the promotion of the Scheme and the work of the NDIA.
