Rosewood International College is a rapidly growing Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering a range of nationally recognised courses to international students. We currently have one campus in Sydney and have plan to expand in 2025.

We are looking for an experienced Computer Network and System Engineer to support the college’s technology infrastructure, focusing on the integration and maintenance of cloud-based platforms including online simulation labs used in IT education. The engineer will ensure reliable access, network security, and ongoing compliance across all digital systems that support teaching, learning, and administration.

About the role

Key responsibilities:

Administer and integrate online simulation labs (e.g., eduLAB) with the learning management system (LMS)

Configure and manage user access, security protocols, and system integrations for cloud-hosted training platforms

Monitor and troubleshoot access issues across campus and remote student devices

Maintain internal IT infrastructure including Wi-Fi, CRM, LMS, cloud storage, and classroom IT tools

Implement and enforce network security, firewall rules, backup systems, and data protection measures

Provide IT support to staff and students, especially for cloud-based learning tools

Ensure the college meets privacy and data security obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles

Assist in planning and implementing IT upgrades and digital education initiatives

Document IT systems, maintain audit-ready records, and assist in regulatory compliance with ASQA and CRICOS

Essential Skills & Experience:

Bachelor degree or higher in information technology or highly related field.

5+ years’ experience in similar role.

Experience with networking, server management (Windows/Linux), and cybersecurity practices.

Demonstrated outstanding ability to understand user needs, communicate effectively and think creatively.

Good written and verbal communication skills

An ability to think laterally in approaching a problem

Good time management and attention to detail

Able to work autonomously, as well as a part of a team
