A trusted and rapidly growing IT service provider is seeking a skilled IT & Network Support Engineer to join their talented and growing team. This role is to be responsible for providing Level 1-2 technical support with a primary focus on networking and infrastructure support for a diverse range of customers, including corporations and healthcare providers such as medical centres, hospitals, and clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote support for network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Diagnose and resolve LAN, WAN, VLAN, and other network-related issues.
• Configure and manage network security systems, including VPNs and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, servers, and cloud platforms, with a networking emphasis.
• Monitor and optimise network performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
• Collaborate on network-related IT infrastructure projects, both remotely and on-site.
• Provide expertise in Active Directory DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy for effective network management.
• Engage with clients to address networking needs, provide recommendations, and ensure optimal performance.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years' experience in IT, preferably within an IT managed services provider, in roles such as Network Support Engineer, Field Support Engineer, or IT Support Engineer.
• Proven experience in configuring and supporting LAN/WAN/VLAN networks.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 10 & 11 environments.
• Proficiency in Active Directory DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and integration with networking systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on networking challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• A proactive mindset and passion for learning and implementing new networking technologies.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a car.

Salary Package: $70K-$80K Base Salary + Superannuation
