Your role:

Transdev Sydney Ferries require an experienced Networks and Systems Engineer who will monitor and understand the Sydney Ferries’ security network architecture and provide full support across the asset lifecycle.

As the Networks and Systems Engineer, you will be installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems and software. Working very closely with our monitoring centre and our operations team you will ensure preventative and system failures are completed to ensure critical system failures are mitigated.

In this role, you will have the variety of being able to travel between our vessels and wharves, be proactive in completing tasks as well as ensuring efficient record keeping is maintained.

Other responsibilities include:

· Diagnoses and fault finding of CCTV system issues

· Conduct maintenance of CCTV & other related assets

· Liaising with our Operational teams such as crews, Team Leaders, Senior Leadership and TDSF Control Centre, on technical and service matters

· Provide outstanding customer service to your stakeholders

The talent you bring:

· 2 years’ of demonstrated prior experience with Genetec CCTV system.

· Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology particularly in Networking or equivalent

· High level knowledge of networking hardware of various types and network programming

· Solid understanding of both installation and maintenance of CCTV system

· High level awareness of CCTV security architecture for TDSF Ferry vessels

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability manage direct stakeholders to negotiate favourable outcomes.

· Proactive approach in accomplishing task to the highest standards under minimal supervision

· An excellent team player approach
