Eyecare Plus Mulgrave is an independent optometry business established in the local community for 38 years. Glenn Vessey has owned the practice for more than 30 years. Our team prides itself on providing exceptional eyecare with outstanding personalised, customer service with high quality eyewear solutions. All of our current employees have been with us for at least 4 years. We looking to replace a current employee of 27 years, due to retirement.

Part time or casual 2.5-3.5 days week

Qualifications & experience

No experience required but a willingness to learn with a growth mindset is essential

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Enjoy working as a part of a team

Competent computer skills and ability to learn new systems

Tasks and responsibilities

Reception, administration and clerical duties

Conducting auxiliary tests (retinal imaging, autorefraction)

Assisting patients with frame selection and providing recommendations based on their individual needs

Measuring and fitting patients for prescription lenses

Processing orders and ensuring timely delivery of eyewear

Maintaining a tidy and organised dispensary

Providing general administrative support as needed
