Only About Children: Castle Hill

Our Castle Hill childcare centre is situated on a large rural property at 569 Old Northern Road, Glenhaven, just across the street from our local Castle Hill Fire Station. With plenty of onsite parking, families can enjoy a smooth drop off and pick up every visit.

We have two large outdoor play areas, so children have plenty of space to explore, create and lead their own play. Each dedicated area has its own sandpit and vegetable garden and sits under both natural and man-made shade. Our preschool playground is home to resident chickens which the children are encouraged to care for. Our children love to recycle food scraps for our chickens, worms and compost bins! Our five age-based indoor spaces are designed, with natural elements, to encourage children to learn and grow.

Centre Director opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong ECT or Diploma qualified advocate and leader to join the OAC family as Director of our wonderful Castle Hill service.

You will be joining our organisation at an exciting time as we have just rolled out our CD training program for 2025. You will take part in a new initiative we are running to enable our Directors to become the ‘CEO of their Campus'.

As Centre Director you will manage the operations of the centre with a particular focus on our 5 key pillars: People, Quality, Growth, Safety and Financial performance. We will provide you with the tools, mentoring and technology to enable you to succeed in the role.

We want to support you through mentorship and training to take autonomy for running the business so you can take pride in your leadership style and develop your career. We hope to shape future OAC leaders and offer exciting internal progression opportunities within our education, pedagogy, safety and operations teams.
