My Playhouse Lane Cove is a brand new, family owned and professionally managed early childhood service. Catering for 81 children per day in a light-filled environment with a genuine, natural outdoor play space, My Playhouse Lane Cove is designed to be a home away from home and is expected to open in July 2025 (subject to approvals). We are seeking experienced, passionate professionals who are looking to engage in visionary, forward thinking practice to join our team. Our team will be well supported by experienced management, with a focus on educator's wellbeing and retention.

Qualifications & experience

Previous leadership experience in early childhood

Diploma of Children’s Services or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)

A high level of understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

A sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Regulations

Experience with the Assessment and Rating process

High level of verbal and written communication skills

Current First Aid, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management

An understanding of schema play and risky play, as well as the importance of high quality infant-toddler practice

Tasks & responsibilities

Supporting, mentoring and guiding a team of qualified professionals

Ensuring the environment, programs and practices are at a high standard an in line with the National Quality Framework and any other relevant legislation

Manage the day to day operations of the service in accordance with service policies, philosophy and procedures as well as funding guidelines

Manage staffing and rosters efficiently and effectively

Building strong relationships within the family community and local community
