Remuneration: $65,024.93 - $70,655 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
Join the IGEM team at Blacktown ED to deliver quality nursing care to older patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Providing direct care within a geriatric emergency model
- Working under RN supervision to support patient outcomes
- Following WSLHD standards and care plans
- Ensuring safety, dignity and clinical accuracy
- Being a part of a collaborative, respectful care team

Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current registration as a Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
Selection Criteria:
- Current registration as a Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
- Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Enrolled Nurse in applying these principles.
- Demonstrated recent nursing experience in acute care or an emergency department.
