The Deniliquin Nursing Home Foundation Ltd (trading as Navorina Nursing Home) is a 60-bed high-care facility located in regional NSW.

Our facility is situated approximately 7 hours from Sydney, NSW and 3 hours from Melbourne, VIC in NSW’s Riverina region.

Opened in 1986, our facility boasts a dedicated memory care (dementia) wing and provides moder, evidence-based, responsive care to our regional community.

Given the demands upon the business and healthcare provided, we now require an Enrolled Nurse to join our busy team.

The successful candidate will be required to work out of our premises in Deniliquin, NSW.

The duties and responsibilities of the Enrolled Nurse position include:

Assisting Registered Nurses and other disciplinary healthcare practitioners to coordinate and provide relevant healthcare to our clients.

Under supervision of the Registered Nurses, administer medications and other forms of treatment, as well as monitor client responses and ensure that such medication and treatment adhere to the client care plan.

Provide advice and guidance to clients (and family members) concerning ill-health preventative measures and other education where relevant.

Document observations and report changes in client health and wellbeing to the Registered Nurse and other disciplinary healthcare practitioners.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Associate-Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma and one (1) year full-time relevant work experience; OR

Three (3) years of full-time work experience.

Successful candidates will also hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

A base salary of $78,000 per annum (plus superannuation) will be offered to the successful candidate.

The successful candidate must also be passionate, proactive and have an eye for detail.
