Our client located at Norfolk Island, an external territory of Australia located in the Pacific ocean approximately 1600 km NE of Sydney is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their team in a unique, remote island setting. This is a rare opportunity to provide high-quality care across emergency, inpatient, and residential aged care settings, while embracing a lifestyle rich in community and natural beauty.

As a Senior Registered Nurse you will deliver best-practice, patient-centred care in a multi-purpose service setting. You’ll work collaboratively with a values-driven team to support the health and wellbeing of the local population.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and implement holistic, evidence-based nursing care across multiple clinical settings.

· Lead and support teams within emergency, general inpatient, and aged care environments.

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

· Uphold clinical standards in accordance with AHPRA and NSQHS guidelines.

· Engage in quality improvement initiatives and policy development.

· Respect and incorporate cultural values into healthcare practices.

· Maintain accurate clinical documentation using health information systems.

Selection Criteria:

· Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.

· Experience in rural/remote nursing, with aged care, general, and emergency experience highly regarded.

· ALS and ETEK Triage (or equivalent) qualifications, or willingness to obtain.

· Demonstrated ability to adapt care approaches to culturally diverse populations.

· Strong teamwork, leadership, and adaptability in a remote setting.

· Computer literacy and familiarity with Office 365 and health information systems.

Salary & Benefits:

· Remuneration: $3,171.89 to $4,068.50 per fortnight

· Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 for removal and travel costs.

· Accommodation Allowance: Up to 4 weeks in a 2-bedroom self-contained unit.

· Car Hire Allowance: Up to 4 weeks vehicle rental upon arrival.
