POSITION: Enrolled Nurse – Aged Services

Valmar Support Services has a current vacancy for a permanent full-time Enrolled Nurse in our Aged Services, based in either Wagga Wagga or Lockhart. Reporting to the Manager, Western Aged Care, The Enrolled Nurse (EN) will provide high-quality, person-centred clinical nursing services to older people living at home. The EN is responsible for delivering direct nursing care, and working collaboratively with participants, their supporters, and multidisciplinary teams to support health, wellbeing, and independence in the home environment.

About you:

Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse

Experience in community, aged care, or primary health nursing

Demonstrated skills in delivery of direct nursing interventions

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Commitment to person-centred care and supporting older people to live safely and independently at home

Current Australian driver's license and willingness to travel to participants’ homes

Ability to negotiate with participants, their supporters, and internal and external stakeholders.

Problem solving and conflict resolution skills in relation to health, and program delivery.

Capable of managing physical aspects of working with older people with high level support needs.
