We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Security Operations Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and securing the Microsoft Azure and future Dynamics 365 environments that underpin the Group’s digital platform. This is a hands-on position focused on cloud infrastructure management, platform monitoring, identity and access control, and continuous optimisation — ensuring a secure, efficient, and reliable cloud environment across business units.

Based in Darwin or Sydney

About the role:

Administer and optimise Microsoft Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity services

Implement and maintain security best practices across cloud environments, including RBAC, environment hardening, and threat detection

Monitor and improve cloud performance, availability, and cost efficiency using Azure-native tools

Lead migration projects, such as moving on-premises file servers to Azure Files, with minimal business disruption

Support the administration of Dynamics 365 infrastructure and related services

Assist with broader cybersecurity initiatives including incident response, vulnerability remediation, and policy enforcement

Automate and document repeatable tasks using PowerShell, or other infrastructure-as-code tools

Collaborate with IT and business teams to support secure, modern, and scalable cloud solutions

What we are looking for:

3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including infrastructure deployment, storage management, and performance tuning

Proven experience migrating file servers to Azure Files and managing secure, scalable cloud storage

Solid understanding of Azure security controls, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks

Hands-on experience with cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, and threat mitigation

Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation tools for cloud operations

Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage cloud-related projects independently

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field

Microsoft certifications are highly regarded (e.g. Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate)
