About the Role
The NDIS Administration & Program Support Officer is vital to the delivery of inclusive, responsive services across ECA NT. Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for NDIS participants and referrals—managing intake, triage, and follow-up in line with contractual requirements.
In addition to your NDIS responsibilities, you’ll support day-to-day office operations, providing high-quality administration across programs, events, and systems.
This is a permanent full-time position, with federal funding secured until 30 June 2027.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Manage NDIS referrals, triage, intake assessments, and data entry
· Provide administrative support including pulse surveys, newsletters and resource development
· Monitor office operations, including room bookings, fleet, supplies, and equipment maintenance
· Liaise with families, service providers, and interpreters, and promote programs to participants
· Assist with planning, coordination, and delivery of events and programs
· Support IT troubleshooting, maintain internal systems, and contribute to continuous improvement
· Provide flexible administrative support across all ECA NT teams as required
About you
To be successful in this position, you need to be friendly and approachable, with a keen interest in early childhood as you will be required to assist at times with on-site facilitation of programs including caring for children and communicating with families. You will have a ‘can do’ attitude and be willing to help out and support the team when required. You have experience with multiple software packages and databases with the flexibility and curiosity to learn even more and to pass on that knowledge (there will be times when you have to patiently guide others who are stuck with systems!). Empowering other employees with knowledge of systems and administration processes is a core part of the NDIS Administration & Program Support Officer role.
You will have demonstrated administration experience, with a high level of organisational skills through planning daily and weekly administrative activities and have a professional approach to work with high attention to detail and accuracy.
You will seek out professional development opportunities and have a passion to never stop learning.
The must haves:
· Certificate in Business Administration or similar experience
· Confidence using Office 365 and familiarity with platforms like Canva and Campaign Monitor
· Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
· Driver’s Licence
· Current Ochre Card (or ability to obtain)
· A National Police Check will be conducted prior to commencement
Prior experience within the NDIS is highly regarded.
