Responsibilities of this role

Lead and develop the Operations team including recruitment

Manage day-to-day and future planned operations of the team and lead specific projects when required.

Support the team to deliver high quality work that meets client KPI expectations

Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations

Identify opportunities for improvement and bring creative, strategic thinking to the table.

Challenge existing approaches constructively to optimise processes, systems, and customer outcomes.

Use data and technology to implement better ways of working.

Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team

About You

Proven experience in team leadership, operations management, or project management - in electrical, building repair and maintenance, construction or similar industry desirable but not essential.

Demonstrate initiative and work autonomously while remaining connected to the team

Ability to utilise systems and excel business reporting, including data analysis, to identify trends and areas of opportunity or improvement

Friendly, clear and confident communication, with the ability to build rapport quickly

A versatile and dynamic approach to diverse workplaces and managing team members

Ability to manage schedules and day-to-day operations, with strong planning and problem-solving skills

Performance driven and customer-centric

Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder complaints and resolve conflict promptly and amicably

Highly proficient in the use of computers and digital platform such as Office 365 (Microsoft CoPilot, SharePoint, Excel etc)

Familiarity of safety regulations and compliance standards, and how to implement
