Our client is a leading Australian food manufacturer, supplying high-quality ready-to-eat and fresh meal solutions to major retailers and food service providers. With a small warehouse team and a laid-back yet efficient work culture, they are now seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Manager to join their Dandenong South facility.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on position where you will manage all aspects of warehouse operations. You’ll be working closely with a tight-knit team of three, ensuring day-to-day tasks run smoothly and deliveries go out accurately and on time.

The role is ideal for someone who values structure, consistency, and a steady pace—no late nights or chaotic shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily warehouse operations, including stock movement and space allocation (approx. 1200 pallet spaces)

Coordinate and schedule deliveries using EDI systems

Supervise, support, and work alongside a small team of warehouse staff

Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel and warehouse software

Operate a forklift as required to assist with loading/unloading

Ensure WHS compliance and a safe, clean working environment

Communicate effectively with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments

Requirements:

Valid Forklift License

HR Licence (preferred but not essential)

Solid computer skills – Excel, Microsoft Office, EDI platforms

Excellent reliability and a strong work ethic

Good team player with clear communication skills

Previous experience managing or supervising in a warehouse environment
