We are seeking an Employment Relations Officer to support our workforce, particularly those from Pacific Island communities, by promoting fair, compliant, and supportive workplace practices. The site is a Meat Works.

Communication is key in this dynamic, hands-on role, you will be the go to support for employee welfare, conflict resolution, and policy compliance. You'll assist with navigating workplace concerns, mediating disputes, implementing policies, and ensuring alignment with employment laws. You are the mediation between worker and client management.

Your people skills and knowledge of employment legislation will help create a fair and inclusive environment where everyone feels supported and heard. Tackling language barriers at times. What You'll Bring:
✔ A degree (2+ Year Post Grad) /diploma in HR and/or Industrial Relations experience and/or Social Work experience, or similar
✔ Strong communication, mediation skills
✔ Familiarity with Australian labour laws and workplace systems

Desirable: Experience in labour hire or seasonal worker programs.
